I gave Isao a tough brief for my Spitalfields loft apartment which was built in 1800:a floating shelf unit which had all the impact of the Bridge of Light - the Millennium Bridge - but also a shelf that was functional and could hold memories - a nod to the past but an embracing of the future which characterises the apartment. The result is spectacular. Isao combines true craftsmanship with creative genius. He took into account the whole apartment and also added two shelves to complement. Everyone who has seen my 'floating shelf of light', now wants one - comments include : "amazing." "stunning."  I think Isao might be very busy in future, but I hope not so busy that he can't come back and do some more amazing work for me!

"Isao made a built in shelving unit for us. We wanted something to house all the children's toys and books whilst retaining an adult feel to the room. The unit and shelves were beautifully made, very precise (even though our sealing sloped a little) Isao then made a second shelving unit for us a few years later. The shelves are very discreetly adjustable and have cupboards below them. It has been very cleverly designed so that we can utilise all the space, despite it being a corner unit. We picked a paint colour which was painted on immaculately. Very pleased with all of the work."
